For some reason, Nate and I decided it would be fun to go backpacking in the winter. And it actually was. I had never camped in the snow, so I didn't really know what to expect. I figured it would be cold though, so I brought an extra pair of socks and some sweat pants. We headed out to a place called Minister Creek in Pennsylvania, a 7-mile loop trail we had done in the summer once. It poured down rain for that whole trip, so we figured snow wouldn't be much worse. We got off to a late start, however, thanks to the clutch on my truck going out on me the day before we left. It took most of the next day (and 700 bucks) to get it fixed, so we didn't get to the area till late in the day, so we decided to camp at one of the local campsites along the river. This is said river.
